The Chic Style of the Roaring ’20s Never Left

pink feather boaA feather boa can be glamorous, funny, absurd, retro, seductive and a hundred other things. They always take on the personality or the mood of the person wearing them and help bring it to life.

They were really popular in the roaring ’20s (and another round of the roaring ’20s is less than 15 years away). Today, you will spot them on those who dare to be braver than the rest during halloween, at Mardi Gras, at parties - they are like a giant billboard that says “this is where the fun is!” A feather boa is an instant costume for attending those last minute costume parties that appear out of the blue. And don’t forget New Years Eve, Birthdays, Graduation, or any other time people are getting together to have some fun.

It’s really hard to find a better accessory that is inexpensive, easy to carry, can dress up a person or a room, and always screams “PARTY!”

I wouldn’t be caught dead in a feathered boa. Leave’em for drag queens and stage actors where they belong. My god! what else does this woman have in her home!!!
